Sesimbra is a fishing town on the Atlantic coast south of Lisbon, at the edge of the Arrábida natural park. The old town and beaches are in the two Sesimbra parishes; Quinta do Conde, in the north, is a large and fast-growing residential area closer to the motorway to Lisbon.
