Paris
France · 80 quartiers
Paris has 20 arrondissements divided into 80 administrative quartiers. Rents in Paris are capped: each year the Préfecture sets a reference rent per m² for groups of quartiers, based on rents observed by the Paris rent observatory (OLAP). The figures below are those official reference rents for unfurnished flats, averaged over flat sizes and building ages. Landlords may charge up to 20% above the reference, and new contracts may not exceed that ceiling without a justified supplement.
