Amsterdam is divided into 25 areas (gebieden) across its city districts. For each we show the average monthly rent (kale huur, without service charges) that tenants paid in 2023, from the city's Wonen in Amsterdam survey. It covers all rented homes, including the large social-housing sector, so it is far below what new private lets cost. Because the city publishes rent per month, not per square metre, Amsterdam is not included in the €/m² comparisons on imowiki.
